Which ChatGPT plans are there?

At the time of writing, OpenAI offers these plans for individuals:

• Free: no cost, with usage limits.
• Go: about $5 a month.
• Plus: $20 a month.
• Pro: in two levels, about $100 a month (5 times Plus usage) and $200 a month (20 times Plus usage).

Both Pro levels have the same features: only the usage limits differ. In September 2026, OpenAI paused new sign-ups to the $200 level. For now, a new subscriber can take the $100 Pro.

ChatGPT Plus or Pro: which one should you pick?

Plus, for regular use

Plus suits most people: students working on a thesis, freelancers writing for clients, professionals who use ChatGPT every day to write, summarize or analyze. Codex, OpenAI's coding agent, already comes with Plus.

Pro, for heavy users and developers

Pro is for people who hit the Plus limits. That's often the case for developers who hand a large part of their coding to Codex all day, or professionals who work with ChatGPT from morning to night. You keep the same account and the same features, with much more usage.

A tip: start with Plus. If you keep hitting the limits, move up to Pro.

Why is paying for ChatGPT from Tunisia so hard?

To subscribe, ChatGPT asks for a Visa or Mastercard that works abroad. In Tunisia, the dinar isn't convertible, and international cards have limits and aren't always easy to get. Many people don't have one, or not with a high enough limit for a Pro plan.

How does it work with Karta?

With a Rewarble card

It isn't an OpenAI card. It's a Rewarble code: Rewarble is a service that turns the code into a virtual bank card you can use to pay for ChatGPT:

1. On the page, pick the plan and fill in the order.
2. Pay in dinars, by transfer from any Tunisian bank, or in cash, in person in Monastir.
3. A person checks your payment, then the code arrives by email.
4. Open rewarble.com, create an account and enter the code.
5. Pick the ChatGPT card: Rewarble makes a virtual card with a number, an expiry date and a CVV.
6. In ChatGPT, go to Settings, then Subscription, and pay for Plus or Pro with that virtual card.

You do everything yourself, on your own account, without sharing your password.

With activation on your account

Here, Karta pays for the plan for you:

1. On the page, pick the plan and enter the email of your ChatGPT account. No account? Leave the field empty and we make one for you.

Which plan should you pick?

For several months, raise the quantity. If you're not sure about the plan, ask us before paying: it's easier than fixing it afterwards.

What to know before you order

We'd rather be clear about the limits.

With the Rewarble card:

• It isn't an OpenAI card. It's a Rewarble card, which works through a virtual card.
• Rewarble keeps a fee. It is already counted in the price: the card you get covers the month you picked.
• Rewarble may ask for an ID before making the virtual card.
• The code has an expiry date. Don't keep it too long, and check the expiry date shown on Rewarble.
• Renewal isn't prepaid. The virtual card only holds the amount you loaded. Before each renewal, check its balance, and if it's not enough, get a new card.

With activation on your account:

• We need the password of an account you already have, just long enough to pay for the plan. Change it as soon as the plan is on, or ask for a new account if you'd rather not share it.
• The plan lasts one month, then stops. To keep it, order another month.
