Gift card sites in Tunisia: how to choose a seller you can trust
5 min read
Price in dinars, password, region, payment, reviews, a code that fails: 9 things to check before you buy a gift card in Tunisia, on a site or on social media.

There is no single "best site" for gift cards in Tunisia. A seller you can trust shows its price in dinars, never asks for your password, says clearly what it sells and writes down what it does when a code fails. Here are nine things to check with any seller, a site or a page on social media, then how Karta answers each one. Compare several sellers before you buy.
Why check before you buy?
A gift card is a code. Once the code is used, you can't give it back like an object. And in Tunisia, you most often pay before you receive, by transfer or in cash. If the seller isn't serious, it is hard to go back.
The 9 things to check with a seller
1. Is the price shown in dinars before you order?
A written price, in dinars, lets you compare and avoids arguments later. A price given only in a private message can change from one buyer to the next.
2. Do they ask for your account password?
This is the most important point. A gift card is a code you enter yourself on the brand's official site. With your password, another person gets into your account and can change everything in it. Say no.
Some game top-ups are done with your player ID. An ID is not a password: it doesn't give access to the account.
3. Do they say which region the card works in?
Each code works in one region. A card from the wrong region won't go through on your account. The region must be written on the card's page, before you buy.
4. Does the payment leave a trace?
Choose a payment you can prove: a transfer with an order reference, or cash in person in exchange for the code. Always keep the receipt. Avoid sending money to a stranger with nothing in writing.
5. Is there a real contact?
A WhatsApp number that answers, an email address, a city where you can meet the seller. Test it before you buy: ask a question and see if a person answers.
6. Where do the reviews come from?
Reviews help, but look at where they come from. A screenshot doesn't prove much. A review tied to a real order is worth more. Read the bad reviews too, and how the seller answers them.
7. What happens if a code doesn't work?
The rule must be written before you buy. Does the seller replace the code? Give the money back? Can you cancel an order, and until when? With no written rule, it all depends on their goodwill.
8. How is the code delivered, and how fast?
A code sent by email leaves a trace and is easy to find again. Also ask for the usual delay, and what to do if it runs over.
9. Do they say clearly what the product is?
An official card from the brand and another solution are not the same thing. Both can work, but you should know which one you are buying. A serious seller writes it down, even when the answer sells less well.
How does Karta answer these points?
Karta is an online shop based in Monastir. We are a seller: so read this part as a seller's answer, and check it.
- Price. Every card has its price in dinars on its page. The price that applies is the one shown when you order.
- Password. Not asked for. You get a code and use it yourself.
- Region. It is shown on each card's page.
- Payment. By transfer, with the order reference, or in cash, in person in Monastir, where you test the code on the spot. D17 is coming soon.
- Contact. WhatsApp and Messenger, 7 days a week, and a contact page.
- Reviews. They are on each card's page. A review written with the email of an order gets the "Verified purchase" mark. Some cards have no reviews yet.
- A code that fails. We check the code with the brand, then replace it or give your money back. An order can be cancelled and refunded as long as the code hasn't been sent.
- Delivery. By email, as soon as a person has checked the payment, usually a few minutes after.
- Product. Karta doesn't issue the cards: they are codes from brands. When it isn't a card from the brand itself, the page says so. For example, our card for ChatGPT is a Rewarble card, not an OpenAI card.
Our limits, to be clear: you can't pay by bank card on the site, cash is in Monastir only, and a person checks every payment, so the code doesn't arrive the same second.
Frequently asked questions
What is the best gift card site in Tunisia?
The one that answers the nine points well for the card you want. Compare two or three sellers: the price in dinars, the region, the payment and the rule if something goes wrong.
Is it risky to buy a gift card online?
The risk comes mostly from the seller. With a written price, a payment you can prove and a clear rule if something goes wrong, it drops a lot. And never give your password.
Is the cheapest one the best choice?
Not always. A very low price with no region shown, no receipt and no written rule can cost more in the end. Compare the price, but also the rest.
How do I know which region to pick?
Look at the region of your account. For example, there is no Tunisian PlayStation Store, and most accounts in Tunisia are French: we explain it in which region to pick for a PlayStation Store card. On Steam, an account made in Tunisia has a wallet in US dollars. If you're not sure, ask the seller before you pay.
Compare, then order
